Auto Data Direct, Inc. (ADD) was founded in 1999 to provide fast, accurate, real-time access to Florida motor vehicle, vessel and driver license records. ADD has steadily expanded its services and now offers many other services and tools, including ADDTag, DirectPost-Office and NMVTIS Vehicle History Reports.

Formed in October, 1999, ADD offers high tech service and adds a touch of southern hospitality and friendliness to provide personalized service. ADD's headquarters is located in Tallahassee, FL, just one mile from the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicle (DHSMV) offices.

ADD is not just in the information transmittal business. Because of its experience in the title industry, ADD understands the need for correct and usable data. That is one reason why ADD and DirectPost-Office, Inc. have developed the ability for clients to complete Florida applications for duplicate, transfer, salvage, and repossession titles as well as Notice of Claim of Lien letters and other motor vehicle forms directly from its web site. Push a couple of keys and watch the information you retrieved fully complete the above forms and many others. Once the form is printed, simply sign the form and submit it to your fast title company, tag office or directly to the Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles (DHSMV).

Auto Data Direct, Inc. contracts with the American Association of Motor Vehicle administrators (AAMVA) to provide vehicle history reports using The National Motor Vehicle Title Information System (NMVTIS).

With the exception of vehicle history reports, ADD's services are not available to individual users. Only companies with a permissible use of personal information as described in the Federal Driver's Privacy Protection Act of 1994 are eligible for ADD's service. ADD is always open to suggestions about what additional data to provide and how to provide it.

To set up an account, ADD requires a $100 Activation Fee and a minimum $50 working balance for a total of $150. There is no monthly service fee. Each time a user logs in, the current balance of the account is displayed. When the balance reaches $0, your access will be turned off. Simply replenish your account online with a credit card or mail a check and you're back in business.
