New EFS and ETR with Auto Data Direct has arrived!

for Auto Dealers and Financial on Thursday, July 14, 2016 by Ashten Mays

It’s been a long time coming but both modernized ETR and new EFS are now available to ADDTag customers! Every day more and more ADDTag customers are migrating over to the new user-friendly ETR interface, with many are choosing to also become a new EFS participant.

The old ETR system will be shut off by the DMV this coming September, meaning that by August 30, 2016 all ETR users will need to be actively participating in the new system. If you have not yet been registered in the new ETR system please take the opportunity to click on the ADDTAG BETA tab to register and take a look around. It is also important to note that user background checks will be required within the DMV’s new system, so make sure to complete background checks and input those into the ADD system.

The newly modernized EFS platform is also available! ADD was the first vendor to make the new process available to its customers and is rolling it out as Florida counties are coming online. The new EFS process allows dealers to interact and file the title and registration work with the tax collector electronically, avoiding a trip to the tax collector altogether! There is no longer any paper document transfer necessary. State tag and registration fees are also electronically transferred to the tax collector. New EFS also offers great benefits to its buy-here pay-here customers. To read more about the new EFS process please visit our ADDTag page
