ADD Services

ADD understands the need for accurate, usable data, and that is one of the reasons ADD developed its powerful inquiry, letter and form tools. Qualified ADD users can access real-time owner and lienholder information from 30 state databases through ADD’s DMV123 portal. Users can use the real- time state data to populate Florida applications for duplicate, transfer, salvage, and repossession titles and other motor vehicle forms. Using the DirectPost-Office electronic certified mail system, all it takes is a few clicks to create and mail Notice of Claim of Lien letters and other certified letters, all without leaving your desk.

Florida dealers can use ADD’s ADDTag system to issue print-on- demand temporary and electronically report issuance and tag transfers to the state, while by-here, pay-here dealers and lenders nationwide can take advantage of ADD’s new electronic lien and title system.

Auto Data Direct, Inc. also contracts with the American Association of Motor Vehicle administrators (AAMVA) to provide vehicle history reports from the National Motor Vehicle Title Information System (NMVTIS). ADD also offers salvage reporting tools for businesses required to report total loss and salvage vehicle data to the federal NMVTIS database.

With the exception of vehicle history reports, ADD’s services are not available to individual users. ADD’s DMV123 state inquiries, NMVTIS salvage reporting, temporary tags, electronic lien and title and electronic certified mail services require a corporate account. Only companies with a permissible use of personal information as described in the Federal Driver’s Privacy Protection Act (DPPA) are eligible for access to ADD’s real-time state inquiry services.
