DOJ Publishes NMVTIS Enforcement Information

for Auto Dealers, Insurance, Mechanic / Body Shop, Salvage and Wreckers

The Department of Justice has released information on its enforcement activities for the National Motor Vehicle Title Information System (NMVTIS). Since 2009, businesses that deal in junk, salvage or total loss vehicles have been required to report information on those vehicles to the national database. NMVTIS information is available to states, law enforcement and the public.

Last month, ADD’s Dealer Team attended the 2011 Digital Dealer Conference in Orlando, Florida to get the word out about the recently launched ADD StiQR product, and to bring dealers up-to-the-minute information on ADD’s real-time, web-based multiple state inquiry access service, DMV123. Digital Dealer focuses on “all things internet,” and supports auto dealers so they may learn about internet auto sales, lead management, drawing data from other states, as well as all info-based, auto-related internet data services, including social networking tools to optimize marketing and consumer interest.
