Things are slow. Maybe you have a few extra minutes to think about how to be more effective in the future when business picks up. Why not mine your ADD account and see if there are features you might be missing that would make your work-flow easier?

For example, when was the last time you took a good look at the drop-down box on your DMV123 tab? Have you just assumed nothing has changed? Try it. Click on the drop-down and scroll through the states that are available in your account based on your DPPA exemption. You might find a new state nugget that you haven’t noticed before that will make verifying owner/lienholder data a cinch.

Are you a DPO user? That tab is full of gold! Go ahead and click on it. As a tow operator, did you know you can set up form profiles that allow you to set rates, return addresses, and auction locations for different forms? Do you use DPO and have to occasionally report a vehicle to NMVTIS? Did you know that you can report that vehicle, for free, with a click of your mouse from your manifest page? Try it!

Hey ADDTag users! Did you know you have free advertising just sitting in your account? That’s right! You can add your logo to temp tags and while that car is driving around waiting on a metal plate, it’s advertising your dealership. Go to ADDTag, click on Dealer Licenses, then Properties, and you’ll see the ability to upload an image. It’s like having a billboard on every tag you print. Now that’s striking it rich! Just do it!

So, take some time to explore the features that you just haven’t had a chance to look in to.
