Don’t Struggle to Find Out-of-State Records Ever Again
on Thursday, May 5, 2016 by Beth WilliamsRecently ADD partnered with the Towing and Recovery Professionals of Connecticut to provide an efficient and cost-effective process for its valued members to access registration and title records in order to comply with the state’s notification requirement. In Connecticut, the DMV has taken a different approach to processing the ABA certificates and now requires proof of notice to out of state vehicle owners and lienholders.
While discussions are ongoing with the Connecticut DMV to access those state records in real-time, today they are not offered in ADD’s DMV123 service. For the Connecticut association members, the out-of-state access is equally important to ensuring timely and accurate notification based on state mandated requirements.
For ADD account holders who qualify based on the DPPA statutes for each of the 34 states with whom we contract, this single platform for accessing records from two-thirds of the nation’s jurisdictions is a powerful tool. Many times, potential ADD customers will feel the service isn’t for them because their state doesn’t yet provide access. With a very mobile society, the odds are pretty significant that your business will need real-time data on an out-of- state vehicle and ADD offers more access to that valuable information than any other company of its kind.
If you aren’t yet using DMV123 as a feature in your account, take a little tour of your drop-down box and find out just how much easier your business day could be. Or better yet, call one of our friendly and knowledgeable customer service representatives at 855-300-3455 and we’ll be happy to walk you through the records you qualify to access and demonstrate how easily that information is retrieved and used to make your business more efficient every day!
