Since the launch of Auto Data Direct’s Electronic Filing System in 2016, ADD has been offering the vessel industry a unique tool that allows dealers to print title and registration decals for vessels from the comfort of your office. The system will instantly assign new vessels a FL number, so that you may begin the application of the vessel’s FL number decal immediately. This can shave time off the post-purchase installation processes and get your customer on the water faster. For used vessels, the registration associated with the existing FL number can be transferred to the new owner.

Dealers can also print Florida title receipts which can be provided to financiers as proof of a lien recording. Accurate title and registration fees are instantly available, so you can accurately pass those fees on to your customer. And if you’re taking in a vessel on trade, you can search HINs via DMV123 to verify owner, registrant, and lien information. EFS also allows you to issue metal plates to the trailers that frequently accompany your vessel sales. You can house your own inventory of metal plates and issue them as needed.
