This is the time of year when we tend to reflect on the things we are thankful for. We are thankful for each of you, our customers, who keep us on our toes and challenge us to continuously improve and expand our services. We are thankful for the customer who has been with us the longest and trusted us for over 20 years, and we’re thankful for our newest customer whose account was just activated today. You have allowed us to grow, to employ more team members, and to extend our services into more states in the past year.

With the upcoming holidays, please be sure to have plenty of temp tag stock on hand. UPS will not be picking up or delivering tags on Thursday, November 25th or Friday, November 26th. Also, UPS will not be picking up or delivering tags on Friday, December 24th or Monday December 27th. Lastly UPS will not be picking up or delivering tags on Friday, December 31st or Monday, January 3rd.

In a July Policy Bulletin released by the Georgia DOR, Motor Vehicle Division Director Brent Bennet announced passage of House Bill 207 during the 2021 legislative session. That bill requires secondary metals recyclers, used motor vehicle parts dealers and scrap metal processors (Salvage Dealers) to report certain title cancellation information and National Motor Vehicle Title Information System (NMVTIS) information to the Department of Revenue. The law was effective July 1, 2021, and according to the bulletin, starting September 1, 2021, Salvage Dealers will be required to cancel all titles through Auto Data Direct through an established account with the company.

When ADD opened shop in 1999, there were just three employees in a small town called Tallahassee Florida. Today ADD has a team of more than 50 with representatives in 9 states. We’ve always been a company that has reached out to our valued customers through onsite visits and industry trade shows and conferences. But, for the longest time we did that from our home-base in Florida.
