My deal fell through, how can I void the temp tag/tag transfer it in the system? Temp tags can only be voided the same day they are issued before midnight. After midnight on the day of issuance, the dealer should contact the DMV to void a tag. Temporary tag transfers can be voided at any time.

What does the new “Deselect Addresses” option mean in my DirectPost- Office? To avoid sending duplicate certified letters to the same address, ADD now allows you to enable a new feature to deselect an address for mailing lien notices. This feature is completely optional, and simply serves to help eliminate duplicate mailings to a single address. However, please note that the use of this new DPO feature is strictly at the user’s risk, and that failure to mail to all of the addresses listed in the records of Motor Vehicle Ownership may invalidate the lien.

The Florida Notice to Surrender and Surrender Stop Process is back! In late June, a bill reinstating the Florida Notice to Surrender and Surrender Stop Process was approved by the governor. Now, the Notice to Surrender letter is available in your ADD account! Create and mail Notice to Surrender letters through your ADD ELT manifest, or by way of your Search DMV123 tab.

As the Department of Justice begins another NMVTIS enforcement effort, it’s a good idea to verify your compliance with the federal reporting requirements.
