ADD's Account Security Changes: What's in it for you?

on Wednesday, May 10, 2017 by The ADD Security Team

The upcoming changes to ADD’s user security policies and login process are the result of ADD taking a proactive approach to securing your account information and access.

Online security has been in the news due to several high-profile data breaches, with business such as Yahoo, Facebook, Home Depot, Target and more suffering from major security breaches. In these incidents, customer email addresses and passwords are often compromised, and hackers then attempt to reuse those credentials for fraudulent reasons.

ADD’s new user security standards will meet or exceed the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) guidelines. They will also give users:

  • 24/7 reset availability - you can reset your password (up to once per day) when you need to, without calling customer service.
  • Maximum security – strong password rules and security process protect you, your personal and business information from hackers.
  • Enhanced user experience - we’re updating the look of the login page to make access fast and easy for all users.
